Nonlinear Algebra with Applications to Statistics
AMS sectional meeting at Purdue University, March 26-27, 2022
Many problems in Statistics have shown to find solutions when treated as problems from nonlinear algebra. This connection between fields has brought very interesting directions and advances to nonlinear algebra itself. The research in this section will range from advances of nonlinear algebra inspired by such applications to its concrete applications to statistics.
