Networking Opportunities
Aside from our club projects, AIAA also offers amazing professional development opportunities to our members through networking. After having been dormant the last few years due to the pandemic, we are extremely excited to bring back site visits to some of the familiar aerospace companies located in Long Island!
Our first site visit of the year will be on February 24, 2023 to GE Aerospace located in Bohemia, NY.
If you missed our first site visit, don't worry! We are having another site visit to Northrup Grumman located in Bethpage, NY on April 21, 2023.
Besides our site visits, there will also be a variety of speaker events where we are inviting various accomplished engineers from different aerospace companies to come talk with Stony Brook students about how they can get started in the industry.

Careers in Aerospace Panel
Our largest speaker event of the year will be the Careers in Aerospace Panel on March 27, 2023 where we, along with 7 other organizations, are hosting 5 company representatives coming to speak about their experiences and career in the aerospace industry. Companies that are attending include NASA, Boeing, GE Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, and North Atlantic Industries!
