You must adhere to academic conduct policy for all assessments.

We have a range of assessments throughout your course-

  • assignments are written and submitted electronically through Blackboard- you will have a strict deadline date and time. You will also need to submit any work through Turnitin which checks for any academic misconduct such as plagiarism

  • practical exams which may consist of demonstrating handling skills and viva type questioning

  • presentations which may involve face to face individual or group presentation of work or prepared presentation screencasts that are submitted electronically

  • placement assessment of knowledge, skills and behaviours

  • Multiple choice exams

Each module will have a module descriptor that explains the module learning outcomes and the assessment task that will assess those outcomes. Some modules may have more than one assessment task. The module assessment brief will explain the task in more detail and will link to the marking criteria. We use generic marking criteria across each level of study.

The pass requirement for all levels on the course is 40%
