Being able to easily find the relevant parts of your notes when studying for your exam is important and not being able too can make your life a lot harder than it needs to be.
If you have access to a laptop or tablet whilst you are at university, there are many programmes built to make this process easier.
A programme not so commonly used, however is a perfect way to organise your work with minimal effort is called Microsoft OneNote.
OneNote is essentially a digital version of a binder. It can hold as many colour coded folders, sub-folders and therefore individual pages as you want.
OneNote is covered by the Office 365 license provided to students by Sheffield Hallam University, so it's completely free to use!
Being able to have every single part of your university work in one single file will make your life a lot easier when trying to find things, even if you don't know exactly where it is. All of your notes will be saved on the Microsoft Cloud and your computer simultaneously so that you can access them from whatever device you may choose.
