This page provides an interactive tool to explore the micro-geographic property price indices for Germany created by Ahlfeldt, Heblich, Seidel (2023): Micro-geographic property price indices [LINK].  Indices are available for rental prices and purchase prices. The index is the outcome of a purely academic research project, with no private-sector involvement. The indices available for download from the GitHub AHS2023-toolkit and are free to use under the condition that the abovementioned research paper is properly referenced. 

The panels below illustrate the 2024 version of the index. We present two panels with rent and purchase price indices to allow for a straightforward comparison across two years.
