Our leadership team is comprised of Health Scholars who are passionate about the program and want to play a larger role within it. Our mission is to enhance this educational experience for our peers, advance their health careers and develop them into the next generation of health care professionals. At Adventist Health Glendale, we have over 30 Leaders who contribute their time to the program.

• After completing 280 floor hours, Leaders are eligible to participate in Leadership Shifting (two 4-hour shifts per month)

  • • New Leaders are not eligible to participate in Leadership Shifting during their probationary period (first rotation on the Leadership  team)

Leadership Qualifications:

• For any general leadership roles, you must be a current Health Scholar for at least 1 full rotation.

• For any executive leadership roles, you must be a current Leader for at least 1 full rotation.

• Must be in Good Program Standing (i.e., no suspensions or policy violations within 1 rotation).
