The Departments Branch is the heart of the program. Department Coordinators ensure that all Health Scholars receive the best experience and are held accountable to program standards. With rounding and constant communication with both staff and scholars, they nurture the growth of scholars following their initial training.
The Training & Education Branch is the foundation of the program. These leaders coordinate Training Days and orient prospective Health Scholars to ensure they are competent in providing high quality care alongside staff. These individuals build the initial relationship with trainees, foster a healthy environment of growth and learning, and ensure a smooth transition into shifting in patient units.
The Projects Branch is the creativity of the program. Project Coordinators create, manage, and host events and activities which are approved by the program. It is a unique branch because the possibilities are endless, thereby providing new opportunities for its members to be creative and resourceful.
The Outreach/Recruitment Branch is the face of the program. Outreach Coordinators network to create lasting partnerships and identify strategies and initiatives to help the program identify people who would benefit from becoming Health Scholars. They attend community events, represent the program at various school campuses, and are the first faces applicants see.
The Enrollment Branch is the gateway into the program. Enrollment Coordinators review applications, review the clearance requirements needed for shifting, facilitate orientation, and interview all prospective Health Scholars.
In the Administration Branch, Administrative Coordinators are responsible for managing records and requests of the Health Scholars and alumni. They ensure that scholars remain compliant with hospital/program policies and assist them with any formal requests they need, such as hours audits, letters of recommendation, student graduation and withdrawals, and leaves of absences.
