Activity: Every day during the sprint, the team syncs up and asks and answers the following questions.
Person by person: Typically, the members of team, facilitated by the Scrum Master, go around, person-by-person, and answers the following questions:
What did I complete yesterday?
What do I plan to complete today?
What is blocking or slowing me down?
Story by story: But going instead story-by-story can help the team stay focused on team goals (delivering value) rather than just individual tasks.
What will it take to get that story to done?
Who will it take to get that story to done?
Or alternate formats every day, focusing on the highest priority story and recruiting individuals from lower priority stories to help with highest priority story.
The Product Owner should be present to be informed about need for input on scope, impacts to stakeholders, or preparations for acceptance testing. Detailed discussions and problem solving take place, as needed, after the Daily Stand-Up.
