A new age of heroes has arrived! The world-renowned Nexus Society stands in the defense of the innocent, acting as a beacon of hope to all. Heroes throughout the world strive to be as popular as those in Nexus.
On the other side of the famed world, the aged Obsidian now finds himself looking for the next generation of students to take up the mantle of Afterschoolers. The timing could not be any better, with a new and ominous threat on the horizon.

Power: Invisibility and Forcefields
Invisia is kind, gentle, and rather timid. Though don't let that mislead you, for she's all in on being an Afterschooler. When it's time to prove herself her powers may not seem all that great offensively, but I wouldn't want anyone else watching my back.
Power: Telekinesis
A natural hero and a great Afterschooler. I don't know too much about her, but I've heard stories about her years of training and guidance not only from Obsidian, but from the very original Afterschoolers. The Nexus Society is proud to have her as a member.
Powers: Freeze Tag
Luli makes for a fantastic sidekick. But to be honest, she doesn't need me to be great. Her skills alone make a her a formidable hero, so it was only natural she's a one of a kind Afterschooler. Her power to freeze someone in place is insane, but requires her to be creative.
Powers: Induce sleep and manipulate dreams
Don't be fooled. This is a very dangerous power. The ability to put anyone to sleep and trap them in a dream can cause all kinds of catastrophes. Maddie, sadly, is narcoleptic. She can hardly stay awake for anything. So I guess her abilities are double sided, dangerous to even herself. Even though she's been through so much, I don't believe she'd ever want to actually hurt anyone. I'm curious to someday see what would happen if we take away her crystal... would it cure her narcolepsy?
Power: Teleportation
What can I say? Maisie is crazy strong, proving that you don't need a complex power to get the job done. If she wanted she could teleport someone away from a fight, or straight up ambush them from any angle. I'm not sure where Obsidian found her, but I'm glad she's here. The team needed someone of her talents. I feel that someday she may be the best of us all.
Power: Telekinesis
BORED. APPLE. I am gonna lose it with this one.
All things considered, though, Miya is the real powerhouse of this team. She's a quick thinker, which goes nicely with her telekinesis. If she was constantly focused on obliterating her enemies, than we'd have a huge problem. Good thing she's a bit brash and too hyper for her own good, because it helps balance her out. Last thing we need is a telekinetic that would erase any of their problems from existence.
Despite all the headaches she may cause, I know that Miya is a true Afterschooler at heart. The team would not exist as it is if she wasn't around.
Power: Superspeed
A cool head and a powerful ability is what makes Sofia a valuable Afterschooler. Often you think of speedsters as hyper and always rushing into a fight, but that's not the case here. Sofia does try to find reasoning and logic in a situation, acting when she's got some kind of plan or when she's forced to. The fact that she's best friend's with Miya says volumes about her personality and patience.
Power: Copying
Eli has always been a laid back guy, but much smarter than people give him credit for. He can use his fancy goggles to analyze any body and it'll allow him to mimic what he scans. Pairing that with his vast intellect and he'd be unstoppable under the right circumstances. Though I will say he still has much to learn about the world around him.
Power: Electric Manipulation
One of the shyer individuals of her peers, Naeveh can definitely take a quiet approach to hero work. I often times forget that, although she can be a bit timid and weird, she can be as hyper and as quick as the very lightning she controls.
Power: Laser Blasts
Talk about confident and chill at the same time. Natalia knows she's strong but doesn't try to flex on all of us. Hero work may seem like a side gig for her, but she does it really well. My only hope is that she continues to stay on our side.
Power: Animal Transformations
Hard to find someone so kind and caring in the hero world we're living in. Savannah always cares to put her friends first while also approaching a problem with a completely positive outlook. It's actually a bit infectuous at times if you're around her for too long.
