welcome to my English Portfolio - Chapter 2 Taking Trips 

In this chapter, ny English teacher instructed us to create a mini vlog. The vlog had to be told in the past tense. Why did we use the past tense? Because in this chapter we were learning about recount text

A recount text tells a story about event that happened in the past. events that happened in the past. The purpose is to retell experiences or activities that already accutred, such as something that happened a few seconds ago, minutes ago, hours ago, or even days ago 

For this assignments, we were free to go anywhere and record our vlog with anyone we wanted. However, the vlog still had to follow the structure of a recount text, which included the reorientation. 

Through this activity, we were able to practice speaking English while also understanding how recount texts work in real life situations. This assignment helped us improve our creativity, confidence and storytelling skills.
