About Me:
My name is Adylee my passion is helping people. I am excited to have started the Occupational Therapy Assistance program. I will graduate on May 2, 2025. My one goal is to graduate from this program and get a job as an OTA at the hospital on the neuro floor. My other goal is to get a new car so I can have more success in this program. My definition of OTA is getting to help someone become as independent as possible and that can include anyone that is experienced something that is affecting their ability to live life functionally and comfortably.
I am in the OTA program.
I like to play piano and garden I have two tortoises, a bearded dragon, and a new puppy as pets and I am interested in health care.
What helps me to be successful in this program is studying with my classmates. Having a 5-10 min break in class at least every hour I think has improved my attention and ability to learn and succeed in class.
Having a movement break at least every hour has been helpful for my success here at SLCC. Also having more snacks or food options would be helpful for the long days during the week.
