Business ADA Accessibility Compliance
Reflection:
This was an educational experience getting tests and applying the knowledge we learned in class about ADA regulations and accommodations. This subway location had a lot of accessibility. I was impressed with their chip selection and how they had it at wheelchair height. I learned more about the correct measurement of ramps. I learned that if it's a handicapped bathroom doesn't always mean the doors need to be wide enough to fit a wheelchair through. I also learned a lot about parking lots and that you don't always need a standing sign to indicate that it is a handicap stall. I thought that was pretty interesting. This assignment was particularly fun because I got to go with some of my classmates and do this project together and bond while we ate subway.
