There are a few different maps that each serve a purpose. Please give each one a look and a read before creating your pack.

» This is the unmarked, standard map of Adventium.
» This map reflects the current season of Adventium, but does not reflect the territories of packs.
» This map can be used as a reference when carving out the size of your pack's territory. All packs must start as the Standard Size. The standard ratio is roughly 7x7 sections on the map grid. It is difficult to see the grid, so we recommend viewing this map on DeviantArt to download it and zoom in on the proper resolution.
» The territories shown here are not actual territories, just examples of territory size.
» This map reflects the four map regions of Adventium. Regions are used to broadly describe the location of a pack and categorize them. Brief descriptions of the biomes in each region can be read below.
» This region is home to the tundra island and valleys, formidable taiga forests on the northern edge, and thick deciduous forests that lie further inland. A few large rivers feed into lakes, although they are typically shrouded by the canopies of the trees around them. The land in most northeast, a peninsula of glacier and tundra, is a formidable place that few dare to inhabit. During the colder seasons, an impenetrable sheet of ice caps the ocean, creating a temporary bridge between the tundral island and the rest of Adventium.
» This region is similar to the NW, having a tundral expanse to the north. However, this area of tundra rests on the northeastern shore. A large swath of taiga forests takes up the northern peninsula edge, while a transition to the boreal forests expands further south. Encompassed by the mountains, a large river valley has developed into a grassland shielded by tall trees and formidable rock, creating a hidden paradise.
» This region is home to a few deciduous forests that shed their leaves in the late fall and winter. Large expanses of grasslands and prairies sweep further south until scorching temperatures turn the land into a barren desert where survival is extreme.
» This region is home to a few coniferous forests that become elegantly dusted by snow in the wintertime, their needles often a snack for larger prey such as elk or moose. Large expanses of grasslands and prairies sweep further south until scorching temperatures turn the land into a barren desert where survival is extreme.
» This region is known as 'neutral' for no packs can claim it for themselves. The lake, known as "Shuni Waters" or "Truce Lake," acts as a refuge spot for packs in times of crisis or for seasonal pack gatherings. After a flood or firestorm, packs can take shelter here and share resources until their territory is safe to go back to.

» The terms 'taiga' and 'boreal' are used to distinguish the more northern coniferous forests from the more inland forests. Taiga forests are seemingly always frigid, while the boreal forests can experience a bit more warmth during the summer months.
» The terms 'grassland' and 'prairie' are used to distinguish the more temperate, fertile lands compared to the drier plains to the south bordering the deserts.
