Strategies for resilience:

Strengthen connections: Connections and warm relations with others will help you in handling stressful situations and staying resilient. After something unexpected happens, that throws most people off and causes stress, it is important to talk it out with someone with a supportive and strong mindset, as it will help go through tough times.

Sense of purpose: I feel like in medicine, motivation is not enough to stay resilient as you see more things and get a lot more experience. Building a sense of purpose will strengthen the ability to stay strong, confident and resilient.

Strategies for hazardous preparation:

Know emergency procedures and be aware of what to do: CRUCIAL. Hazardous preparation can't start with the basic knowledge of emergency procedures in your hospital or area. By knowing how to react step by step, people won't panic and lose time in a critical situation. That is why we study.

Practice: In any situation, it is very important to practice. Just having knowledge of what to do in a specific situation memorized is good, but not enough. Healthcare workers have to practice in order to make something a habit to ensure a confident and safe response.
