Alptraum, Tempus Cucumis' first EP and ninth release, resonates with the echoes of a year steeped in darkness, where dreams twisted into restless visions. In Morpheus, we awaken within a haze of whispering memories — gentle yet pressing — as if sleep itself reminds us that hope once lingered. Phobetor drags us deeper, into the fever of fear, the creeping shadow made flesh in suffocating chords and unsettled rhythms — a confrontation with the monster that keeps you awake, the conscience that murmurs, the heart pounding against time’s fragile cage.
From there, Phantasos bursts in — ironic, almost playful, a vivid masquerade of illusions where grief is cloaked in dazzling colors and shadows dance like companions. It is the dream that knows it is a dream, both mocking and exhilarating. And at last, Endymion: awakening into dawn, a melody of release, of surrender — a fragile, luminous silence that guides us out of the labyrinth. Alptraum is more than an EP: it is a flowering of clarity, a shedding of darkness, a testament to resilience — four fresh songs written to heal, to endure, to breathe anew.
