Second shipment of essential goods

The association Adeo Solidarity Fund funded a second shipment of 11 280 essential goods for employees of Leroy Merlin Ukraine and their families who remain in Kyiv. A third shipment is in progress.

Food and baby products were dispatched by employees to create essential packages. These products have become rare and expensive.

Polina, beneficiary

Polina worked for Leroy Merlin Ukraine and had to leave her country because of the difficult situation in Ukraine. She found a safe place in Portugal and has been hosted by her colleagues of Leroy Merlin Portugal. The hosting family received a financial support to help buying essential goods, and Polina received also a financial contribution to start her new life there in good conditions.

Yana works in a Leroy Merlin Ukraine store in kyiv. She is currently in Sweden with her 2 children and received a one month financial food aid.

Anaïs Theisen & Liliia, beneficiaries

Liliia, Dmytro, Nataliia and Viktoriia entered our lives on April 12, 2022. Even if the conditions are special (war in Ukraine, editor's note), and it's very difficult for them, we have no regrets.

Friendship with Liliia was immediate, certainly facilitated by our common company, and above all the same values.

Without the help of the association, welcoming them would have been impossible: the food aspect is something that I had not anticipated. On a daily basis, we are three, and have never benefited from state aid. However, four more people is a budget that we did not have.

The help of Adeo Solidarity Fund freed us from financial constraints. It is therefore serenely that we live the adventure and that we were able to concentrate on the essentials: them, their health, their papers and how to rebuild themselves.

Nataliia and Viktoriia have now returned to Ukraine. Liliia stayed with her son. We are very attached to them. The experience is incredible humanly speaking, and enriches us day after day with our differences. Our lives will never be the same again.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be in the action and thank you for this incredible and courageous mother who greatly deserves all our support and our sincere affection.

I have worked with people from all the countries where Adeo is established and I feel particularly affected and concerned by wars, disasters or great difficulties they encounter, in countries where social protection is often much less than in France.
