The delivery instrument set holds the five pieces needed at every normal birth in one perforated stainless steel box. It carries a curved 16 cm Busch umbilical scissors with a blunt lower tip, a 4 inch cord scissors for trimming near the clamp, a straight 14 cm Ochsner-Kocher artery forceps with interlocking teeth, a 22 cm Gross-Maier dressing forceps and a 25 cm kidney bowl.
Adas Instruments makes the set from high quality medical grade stainless steel. Needle holders and suture scissors are left out on purpose and come in a separate repair set, so the delivery box stays small and quick to turn round between births. The set is fully autoclavable and is supplied plain or with OEM branding.
