The ADAS OmniView breast retractor carries a fiber optic light, a suction channel and a channel that seats an endoscope at 4 mm or 10 mm, all on one blade. Because the scope sits under the blade and moves with it, the view stays on the part of the pocket the blade is holding open, which matters most in transaxillary and endoscopic breast augmentation, where the opening is small.
It comes in three blade widths, 25, 30 and 35 mm, all on a 17 cm blade, and the scope channel is ordered to match the scope the theater already runs. The suction channel clears cautery smoke before it settles on the lens. Adas Instruments makes it in its own workshop from high quality medical grade stainless steel, and it goes through the steam autoclave with the rest of the tray.
