This is my best work during my sophomore year at Metropolitan Business Academy. The work that I have selected demonstrates my learning and growth in the six 21st Century Competencies. Each page includes my best work in that area, my self-rating, and my reflection. Enjoy!

I live in Derby, Connecticut but have been attending New Haven Schools since kindergarten. In my free time, I like to watch videos and write. My hobbies include dancing, talking, going out with my friends, shopping, and painting. My favorite subject in school is English, but I also like my Multimedia Productions class where we can create films. I like to live my life with a positive attitude - it really has a big impact on your happiness and also the impression you give others.

I am a motivated student that values education and puts effort into my work. However, it is also important to me to balance life inside and outside of school. I am involved in after school activities such as Arts & Ideas (fellowship), Rowing Club, and Culture Club. I also take dance classes. I would describe myself as determined, creative, and fun. In the future, I aspire to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to become a toy designer since this is something I am passionate about.
