US History Exit Task

In this US History exit task, we had to choose one of the provided controversial topics and pick a side to write our argumentative paper on. The topic I chose was whether or not the internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII was justified. I had to use at least four sources from website Opposing Viewpoints in Context (two that supported and two that refuted our claim).

I would rate myself an exemplary because I used research tools to access and evaluate information from multiple sources. I had to assess what sources would give me the best information and derive the important evidence. I used a total of eight articles to draw my information from (more than what was required). I had to organize and synthesize my information from my sources into paragraphs and include a rebuttal.
