Connecticut may be small, but it boasts a whopping 220 numbered routes (if you count that short piece of I-684 in Greenwich, but not the cross-border sections of NY 120A) which criss-cross its hills, mountains, and coastal plains. On top of that, the Constitution State has numerous unsigned, state-maintained roads that are given 'secret' numbers.
