Northbound

NB leaving CT 12 with shield and LGS assembly with distances. Helvetica strikes again after Cortiss Rd. and wide shield pops up near Brickyard Rd. Here's a game: can you pick the correct shield?

Side road warning before Parker Rd. and signal warning before Watson Rd./Fabyan Rd. Hopefully you can guess which road the LGS points down.

Last shield and LGS assembly in Connecticut before the MA bookleaf appears and the road becomes MA 131.

Southbound

Crossing the border from MA 131 with a bookleaf town line sign and a blue welcome sign. I suppose my cell phone is a handheld telephone, but I can't say I've ever referred to it as such.

At CT 197 in Quinebaug. No thanks on the wide shield, but the narrow shields are nice.

Fire station warning near Quinebaug Fire Dept. Not sure what the deal is with the font on the Putnam LGS. Last pic is at Watson Rd./Fabyan Rd.

Leaving CT 12 NB. Note that CT 131 is a north-south route, while MA 131 is east-west. CT 131 has actually been signed very inconsistently, and was signed E-W from CT 12 as recently as 2008. Obviously, that is no longer the case.
