Example Qs
Hey Smita. Could you do me a favour? Actually, I don’t have my car today with me. And I can’t even get a taxi. I’ve been trying for several minutes, but none is available. If you don’t mind, could you drop me on your way? My kids are waiting and it is getting pretty late.
"Hey, thanks so much for the invitation! To be honest, I am really interested in the sports club and it sounds like a lot of fun. However, my schedule is just incredibly packed right now between taking care of my family and managing a heavy workload at my job. On top of that, I have to travel quite a bit for work over the next few months, so I won't be able to commit to it regularly. I'm really sorry to miss out, but let's definitely catch up for a coffee or dinner whenever things calm down a bit on my end!"
"Hi there, I wanted to quickly touch base regarding my upcoming vacation. To ensure everything runs smoothly while I'm away, I’d love to discuss how we can manage my tasks efficiently. I was thinking I could work remotely for a few hours each day to handle urgent emails and keep our current projects moving forward. Alternatively, I can completely hand over my critical duties to the team before I leave. What approach do you think would work best for the department?"
"Hi everyone, I am so sorry for being ten minutes late to the meeting. I unfortunately got stuck in an unexpected traffic jam on my way here. I really appreciate your patience for waiting, and I am ready to dive straight into the agenda so we can make the most of our remaining time. Please let me know what I've missed so far."
"Hi there, I'm calling to update you on our trip. My flight was just unexpectedly canceled, so I need to change my destination and head back home instead of going to the airport. My home address is 123 Maple Street. To get there, you'll just need to take the next exit on the highway, turn left at the main intersection, and it will be the third house on the right. Please let me know if that works for you and if there's any fare adjustment."
"Hey Susan, that sounds like an amazing idea! I would absolutely love to go for a walk in the countryside. However, I just checked the weather forecast and it looks like it might rain tomorrow. Why don't we wait and see what the weather looks like tomorrow morning before making a final decision? I'll text you as soon as I wake up, and we can decide then."

Your English-speaking friend has asked for your help with a college project he/she is doing about celebrating New Year in different countries.
Write an email to your friend. In your letter,
say how important New Year is to people in your country
describe how New Year is celebrated in your country
explain what you like about New Year celebrations in your country
Dear Aarti,
Hey. How’s it going? I received your email yesterday and I’d be delighted to help you out with your project.
People in my country celebrate New Year with a lot of excitement. It is celebrated as the coronation ceremony of Lord Rama when he came back from exile to Ayodhya. It comes right after Diwali, which is different from Western New Year of 1st January. The people of my country wear new clothes, eat sweets, spend time with their loved ones and burst crackers. For me, wearing new clothes and travelling are best parts of New Year. It fills me with joy, enthusiasm and new vigour.
I’d like to visit me here whenever you can.
Lot of love,
Anjali

Dear Sir,

On the 13th June, it the birthday of Hitesh. He has been a very diligent employee of our organisation, and always helps everyone apart from finishing his own work at time. So, a few of us are planning to have some snacks and drinks from 5pm.
It would be appreciated if you could give leave to everyone at 5pm.
Please respond as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Anjali Kotadiya
