Dr. Gwendoline Menga-Fote

Dr Gwendoline Menga-Fote is Board Certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. After graduating Cum Laude from Kennesaw State University, Georgia in 2001, she obtained her medical degree and a master’s in business administration from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine – New York Institute of Technology in Long Island New York. Dr. Menga-Fote completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center in New York and was named the best first year Physician in-training during her First year of residency in 2006-2007. She completed her Fellowship in Rheumatology at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, after which she was recruited to join the faculty at Ochsner Baton Rouge where she managed patients with complex autoimmune conditions from 2011 to 2012. She was with Northwest Diagnostic Clinic in Houston from November 2012 to June 2015. She is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Prime Rheumatology Clinic of Houston since July 2015.

Dr. Menga-Fote’s mission is to improve the well-being, health, and outcomes of patients with rheumatic disease.


Dr. Menga-Fote was been named Houston Top Doc in 2013, 2015 and 2016.


When Dr. Menga-Fote is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dr. Barnabas Talla Fote and her two boys Andrew and Zach.
