What are STAR Events???
STAR Events, which stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition, are competitions where members showcase their skills and talents. You can compete at the local, state, and even national levels. The events recognize how awesome you are in your chapter projects, individual projects, leadership skills, and getting ready for your future career.
You can choose to compete on your own or team up with others. There are over 30 STAR Events to choose from, and they're all about showing off what you know and can do. It's not just about winning; it's about making a difference. You identify a problem related to families, careers, or communities, dig into it, and then come up with a project to bring about some positive change.
And these events aren't just about winning medals – they're also about helping you grow. You can work as a team, go solo, or compete head-to-head.
