My name is Damon Cruz and I am your Acorn FCCLA President. I am in the 11th grade and have been in FCCLA for 5 years. I am also involved in FBLA, Journalism, National Honors Society, and Student Council. Outside of school, I enjoy shopping, hanging out with friends, baking, and traveling. When I joined FCCLA, I was mostly excited about traveling, but I fell in love with each attribute the organization has to offer. My accomplishments in FCCLA include being chapter president, region V Vice President of Parliamentary Law, and this year's Region V State Officer Candidate. I have earned 2 silver STAR events medals and one bronze STAR event. What I plan to improve in my FCCLA journey is too become less reserved, meet new people, and have the opportunity to create change in my community. My favorite memory from FCCLA is the 2019 National Fall Conference in Dallas, Texas. It was my first conference and the event made me realize how involved I wanted to be in FCCLA.
My name is Kora Carter and I am your Chapter First Vice President. This year, I am also Region V First Vice President. I am a Senior and I've been in FCCLA for 4 years. I'm also involved in Fellowship of Christian Students, cheer, choir, golf, tennis, Gifted & Talented, National Honors Society, Educational Talent Search, and yearbook staff. In my free time, I enjoy going to cafes, reading, baking, cooking, and camping. I joined FCCLA for college, leadership skills, and community service. In the future, I plan to be more involved in FCCLA. My greatest accomplishments include my community service hours and my confidence growth when public speaking. The best memories I've made in FCCLA are the long car rides with the whole chapter.
My name is Lauren Cruz and I am the Vice President of Community Service. I'm a sophomore and I have been in FCCLA for 4 years. Besides FCCLA, I am also involved in senior high Quiz Bowl, Gifted & Talented, Educational Talent Search, band, and FBLA. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, listening to music, reading, writing, and playing different instruments. I joined FCCLA for community service, college opportunities, new friends, and growing my leadership skills. In the 4 years I've been involved in FCCLA, I have become more involved in my community and I love the community we do each year. I have enjoyed being a chapter officer. It has grown my leadership skills. I am definitely less shy than when I first joined. As for my goals, I would like to meet more people, participate in STAR, and get more involved with the organization. My favorite memory from FCCLA was Capitol Leadership Conference and walking around Washington D.C. with my friends last fall!
My name is Kenzie Daniels and I am your 2023-2024 chapter Vice President of Competitive Events. I am a Senior who's been in FCCLA for 6 years. My journey with FCCLA has been absolutely incredible. I have won many awards for STAR Events including silver twice at the national level. I was a District V officer my 9th grade year. My biggest accomplishment was not only being an Arkansas State Officer my 10th grade year but I was State President. I also had the privilege of being a National Officer Candidate for Arkansas. It was a huge honor. My extracurricular activities outside of FCCLA include Acorn Lady Tiger basketball, Fellowship of Christian Students, Skills USA, and National Honors Society. My hobbies include basketball and hanging out with friends. I am this year's Miss Polk County and was just recently crowned Miss Arkansas Role Model. I joined FCCLA because of the amazing leadership opportunities. I would encourage everyone to become a part of the ultimate journey.
My name is Eilam Holland. I am the Vice President of Membership. I am a freshman and this will be my 3rd year of being in FCCLA. Outside of FCCLA, I am also apart of the Acorn basketball, cross country, track, golf, & tennis teams, and Gifted & Talented. My hobbies include fishing, hunting, drawing, and aerial photography. In FCCLA, I've accomplished being a chapter officer and helping in my community. For my goals, I'm working on a STAR event and making new friends. My favorite memory from FCCLA is the dance that was held at state leadership conference last year. What a blast!
My name is Gracie Mabry and I am Acorn Vice President of Parliamentary Law. I am a sophomore and I've been in FCCLA for 2 years. Other clubs I'm involved in include Upward Bound and Yearbook. When I'm not busy I enjoy listening to music, hanging out with friends, and reading. I joined FCCLA because all of the opportunities seemed beneficial. I heard FCCLA was interactive and fun, so I joined! After joining, I made the accomplishments of becoming a chapter officer and stepping out of my comfort zone. My goals in FCCLA include more community service hours, and meet new people. My favorite memory from FCCLA was state leadership conference last year.

Other activities that I'm involved in are Lady Tiger basketball, Educational Talent Search, and Gifted & Talented. My hobbies outside of school include hanging out with friends, playing basketball, and listening to music. The reason I joined FCCLA was because all of my friends were in it and I wanted to be a part of it too. My biggest accomplishments in FCCLA are when I got bronze on my STAR event and when I became a chapter officer. My goal for FCCLA is to be more involved and become a regional officer. The best memory I've ever made was when we went to Capitol Leadership Conference in Washington, DC.

My name is Matt Lyle. I am a senior at Acorn High School. I have been a member of FCCLA since the 7th grade. I have served as Acorn Vice President of Membership and Vice President of Programs. I try to work hard and make sure everything is set up and ready for all fundraisers and events. My number one reason for being in FCCLA is community service. I am also a member of FFA and the basketball, baseball, and golf teams.
