At the 2023-2024 Acorn Tiger Fest, our members reached out to the Acorn student body to get them involved in FCCLA. We passed out sunglasses to remind them how bright their future could be with FCCLA. The club fair was an excellent opportunity to get to know everyone and invite students on the ultimate leadership journey!

Members created a display to share information about Acorn FCCLA and the Acorn Family Consumer Sciences department for the Polk County Fair Education Building.  Their display won 1st place and Best in Show!  Congratulations to all members who participated in this project!

Damon and Kora attended the District V Officer meeting at Nashville High School to help plan South Arkansas FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference. Kora has served this year as the District V First Vice President. Damon has served as the District V Vice President of Parliamentary Law.

Damon and Kora made a presentation to the Ouachita River School Board at their monthly meeting in November.  They updated the board on all of the activities and community service that Acorn FCCLA has planned for the 2023-2024 school year.
