Have you seen a mom cat with her babies before humans come to separate them? Keep families together. Don’t separate kittens. Put the whole group up for adoption together.
In the wild, kittens live with their mother in the bushes. So don’t separate the kittens if the mom is no longer with them: keep the families together.
These two cats used to be on the street. They were separated from their mothers. At least one of them still lives with his sister
Have you ever seen a mom cat with her babies before humans come to separate them? That right there tells you that there's a connection between the kittens and the mom and also between each of the kittens... they support each other.
The idea of this manifesto is we often find kittens separated from a mom, so the first reaction is "how quickly can we get these kittens adopted into family?". Thanks, but we should reduce the stress, reduce the trauma, and there's already drama because of separation from the mother.
At least we can provide psychosocial well-being by keeping the kittens together so that they can live as a group. And support each other.
