James 2:18
"Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith with my deeds.
The theme for this year’s youth conference is Faith Made Visible. Rooted in James 2:18, “Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds,” this theme encourages us to embody our Christian faith through tangible, everyday actions. While grounding us in our beliefs, the theme also encourages us to embody our faith in our relationships, service, self-perception, and church involvement. It invites us to recognize that faith becomes real when it’s visible, when it’s expressed through mercy, forgiveness, generosity, and love.
Faith Made Visible is more than a title; it is a call to action. Our Christian life is not confined to worship services or mountaintop moments, but is lived out daily in compassion, forgiveness, humility, and service. Through the combination of worship, structured service, interactive sessions, and joyful experiences, this conference will create an integrated environment where faith is activated on all levels: head, heart, and hands.
This theme will guide every part of the conference: from the way small groups engage in prayer to the hands-on service projects that connect us with the needs of others. You will explore topics like mercy, forgiveness, generosity, and love in a Christ-centered manner through the Foundational sessions which will be organized by age groups. You will also have the opportunity to select from a list of sessions we're calling "Everyday Christianity," which help you with practical life struggles like developing better spiritual habits, handling stress and burnout, discerning your gifts, and managing your relationship with technology and distractions. Aside from morning prayers and a worship night, which will allow the Holy Spirit to shape and renew our hearts each day, we will also gather in moments of fellowship, creativity, and fun to remind us that living out faith is not only a responsibility but also a gift and a source of deep joy.
By the end of the week, our hope is that each of you will leave with a clearer sense of how to make your faith visible in your everyday life. Whether through service, prayer, community, or quiet acts of kindness, we hope that you will be encouraged to continue showing Christ to the world through your deeds. The conference is designed not only to inspire but to form habits, nurture growth, and spark a lifelong commitment to living out the Gospel in real and meaningful ways. In a world that often separates belief from action, this week will boldly declare that our faith is not invisible.
This year's logo visually captures the idea that faith is not hidden but lived out in action. The mountain represents the journey of spiritual growth, with the figures climbing together to symbolize perseverance, community, and the daily effort required to live out belief. The cross radiating light above the summit reflects Christ as the source and goal of that journey, while the earth below reminds us that faith is meant to be visible in the real world, not separate from it. Inspired by James 2:18, the design points to a faith that can be seen through movement, service, and the way we walk alongside others.
