Pre-departure information

You will need to login to My Study Abroad and complete all required forms before departure.

The following forms in My Study Abroad are due by November 1 (spring semester abroad) or by April 1 (summer, fall or AY abroad):

• Attend all required pre-departure meetings (in person and virtual)

• Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor to discuss your courses abroad

• Read and electronically sign the My Study Abroad signature documents (submitted online)

• Read and electronically submit the My Study Abroad questionnaires (submitted online)

• Complete the My Study Abroad health and safety quiz (submitted online) and schedule a travel consultation with McKinley Health Center (by appointment only)

Forms that may be submitted after the deadlines listed above:

• Travel itinerary (complete before leaving the country - submit online)

• Course approval forms – complete with your academic advisor and submit it via email to aces-studyabroad@illinois.edu
