Dr. Li-Chen Hsieh

Dr. Li-Chen Hsieh,
Graduated from the Department of Business, National Taiwan University in 1969. She had medical training in the Post Baccalaureate Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University and graduated in 1994. Dr. Hsieh studied in preventive medicine in National Taiwan University and received a master degree in 2001 and a doctoral degree in 2005.
Dr. Hsieh has worked as a senior director of several foreign banks in Taiwan for more than 20 years.
Due to her awareness in the meaning of life, she was apprenticed to a master of Tao Study, learning Qi and Qigong and its practice in clinical medicine. Devoting to the study of traditional Chinese medicine for more than 30 years, Dr. Hsieh consider the integration of Chinese and western medicine as her life-long career.
The journal is to publish evidence-based articles pertaining to prevention, health care, health preserving, and medical care with emphasis on neo-medicine. In addition to TCM, the policy of journal also embraces all kinds of relevant researches and integrates inter-disciplinary into a new style of medicine, named as Neo-medicine.
The Journal of Neo-medicine is issued on the grounds of the establishment of a new society called Association of “Acupressure and Cupping” that has to be upheld by a professional academic journal to provide evidence-based researches in order to elucidate in-depth knowledge of TCM and provide an guidance and checklist for horizontal and vertical exploration of pertinent disciplines.
The main tenor of this journal is to embody evidence-based study on acupressure and cupping. The fundamental element is to breathing practice through the maneuver of self-energy as strong as to enhance the efficacy of two professional skills.
Accordingly, the Neo-medicine highlights three main areas, practicing, acupressure, and cupping, of therapy, techniques, and clinical practice. Hence, it not provides a platform for publishing various kinds of articles but also shares various kinds of knowledge of health care with the folk people who are interested in this area and make consultation with them.
