The Academic Development Office hosts a book club for all faculty at TCTC. These books cover a range of topics related to teaching and learning. This provides a great opportunity to interact with colleagues and reflect on your on teaching practice.

LC 101 is designed to provide new full-time faculty an opportunity for integration into the TCTC culture throughout their first semester. Early orientation sessions will be conducted with new staff members. Faculty group meetings will be used to encourage faculty to implement diverse teaching and learning strategies that promote both acquisition and applications of knowledge and understanding in an attempt to foster student success in the classroom. A significant portion of faculty session time will be devoted to advisor training.
