The Bingo game was designed to address the following learning goals simultaneously:
1. To be able to predict the output accurately
2. To be able to predict the output quickly.
The Bingo game has two parts namely the Bingo Box and the Bingo Questions. Students were given 16 questions for which they were asked to come up with answers within 45 minutes. As they come up with the answers, they are free to fill in the values in any of the Bingo boxes. Once the 45 minutes have elapsed, one student at a time go forward to write an output on the board. The lecturer will then verify if the answer on the board is correct. If the answer is correct, all students who have the answer in their boxes can cross the box off. The process is repeated until a student hits Bingo, defined herein as the successful marking of four spaces in a continuous alignment, whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
