• They are divided into 5 groups:

* Anomaluromorpha (Springhare, Flying mice)
* Castorimorpha (Beavers, Gopher)
* Hystricomorpha (Porcupine, Guinea pigs, Chinchilla)
* Myomorpha (Rats, Mice, Gerbils, Jerboas, Hamster, Lemmings)
* Sciuromorpha (Squirrel, Prairie dog, Chipmunk)

• 50% of Mammals are rodents

• Their inciscors are ever-growing

• They don't have canines

• They have a good sense of smell
