Hyracoidea

• They are divided into 3 groups:

* Procavia (Rock hyrax)
* Heterohyrax (Bush hyrax)
* Dendrohyrax (Tree hyrax)

• They have poorly developed internal temperature regulation

• Their 2 upper incisors are tusk-like and large

• Their lower incisors are deeply grooved

• They have complex, multichambered stomachs
