Monotreme

• Monotremes are divided into 2 groups:

* Platypus

* Echidna

• They are the only mammals to lay eggs

• Adults don't have teeth

• They have electrolocation sense

• They have extra bones in the shoulder girdle

Electrolocation - The ability of sensing Electric fields created by animals.
Shoulder girdle - The bones that connect the arm to the body.
