Participants
Student and faculty member of KOSEN (College of Technology), Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), and Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT)
Student and faculty member of University in Japan and overseas
Company and Research Institute in Japan and overseas
Subject to Presentation
Research and activities that read to solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Research results related to the SDGs through joint research grants between KOSEN and NUT
Research results related to the SDGs through graduation research and unique research, and individual research by faculty members
Research related to SDGs on KOSEN, universities, companies
Activity or project related to SDGs on industry-academia collaboration, and international collaboration
Awards
The "Best Presentation Award" will be given to students for their excellent presentations that deepen the audience's interest

We are planning to select the Best Presentation Award by votes from faculty members of KOSEN, NUT, and companies.
We may ask you to serve as a judge.
Only students are eligible for the "Excellent Presentation Award."
Presentation Format
This year, the format will be different for on-site and online participants due to the hybrid hosting. In addition, since the on-site and online sessions will be held concurrently, participation in both formats will not be possible in general.
Please note that due to the convenience of the venue, we may ask you to change your registration to online participation even if you have applied for on-site participation. Thank you for your understanding.
<Poster Presentation> Only on-site participant | Aore Nagaoka Arena
Poster Sessions will be divided into front and back halves based on the presentation number. Each section will have 50 minutes for each presentation.
・ Please print your own poster (A0 size) and bring it with you on the day of the event.
・ Please follow the directions at the venue and display your poster in the designated area.
・ Language: English
Other Notes
Each speaker will be asked to place his/her poster at the venue according to his/her speaker number.
Speaker numbers will be announced by e-mail around middle of October.
<Oral Presentation> Only online participants
The format of the online presentation will be a 5 minutes oral presentation per person.
・Format: Online presentation in Power Point
・Language of presentation: English ※Basically English, but some Japanese may be used
・Presentation: Presentation (4〜5 people ) + group Q&A (Instruction)
Other Notes
This session will be held using Zoom.
You will be asked to share your slides from your own computer screen during your presentation, and instructions on how to use Zoom will be sent to you via email around the middle of October.
Speaker numbers and the program for each Zoom session will be provided via email around the middle of October.
Preparation
This year's hybrid style will require different preparations for on-site and online participants.

II-A. Poster Presentation (Only on-site participants)
Please bring your poster on the day of the event.

・Call for Full Manuscripts for Transactions on GIGAKU (Optional)
Research Presentation in 8th STI-Gigaku 2023, can submit full manuscripts in English to be published in the “Transactions on GIGAKU”, a Peer-reviewed online journal, which will be published after the Conference.
