Ka kī a Māmā, “Āe, e tunu ana tāua i te rēwena.”
Ka horoi a Hana i ōna ringa.
Ka tapahi ia i ngā rēmana.
Ka kata rāua, ka tunu tahi rāua.
Ka haere a Hana ki te kīhini. Hana goes to the kitchen.
Ka kī ia, “E Mā, ka taea e au te āwhina?” She says, “Mum, can I help?”
Ka kī a Māmā, “Āe, e tunu ana tāua i te rēwena.” Mum says, “Yes, we are baking bread.”
Ka horoi a Hana i ōna ringa. Hana washes her hands.
Ka tapahi ia i ngā rēmana. She cuts the lemons.
Ka kata rāua, ka tunu tahi rāua. They laugh and cook together.
