Assignment - Youtube is blocked by many schools to prevent access to inappropriate or distracting material. If you would like to share a useful portion of a YouTube video with your students, you may perform a screen capture of that portion and save it to your private Google Drive where you can use it during class without having to open Youtube. This falls within the Fair Use law. Record a portion of a video that illustrates a specific concept that you would like to share with your students. Upload the video to your Google Drive, provide a link, and cite the reference.
(3) Digital Video Editing - Practice movie

Assignment - Develop a practice movie in WeVideo or other video editor using the files provided. Put this video on a streaming video server and embed in your website. Your movie should include, imagery, voice-over, music, transition, subtitles and annotations.
(4) Digital Video Editing - Personal Instructional movie

Assignment - Produce a brief instructional movie using your own footage using a video editor of your choice (iMovie, ClipChamp, WeVideo, etc.). Put this video on a streaming video server and embed in your website. Your movie should include, imagery, voice-over, music, transition, subtitles and annotations.
(5) Interactive Video

Assignment - Watch the following the movie on databases and the movie on spreadsheets using EdPuzzle, answering all of the questions. Develop an interactive video (questions, verbal annotations, text) from an existing video using a resource such as EdPuzzle.
(6) Stop Motion / Time-lapse / Slow-motion

Assignment - Review photographic techniques. Create two of the following: (1) time-lapse, (2) stop-motion animation, (3) slow motion video . Post links to your videos and write a paragraph describing how these resources might be used by you and/or your students to enhance learning in your subject.
