Hi, my name is Marie and I am passionate about sewing, knitting and crochet.

Beginnings

My first introduction to knitting came from my mother at 5. I managed to knit some kind of XXXL scarf 🤣 . Not long after, I also tried sewing, first by hand: I made a chiffon doll.

Then, I pursued my trials so that I could ultimately sew my own clothes.

New Zealand

When we moved to NZ, Springs was starting while we were just leaving the Canadian Fall. As a result, we arrived with my 8-month old son without jacket to protect from the cold days. And there, no jackets to be found in the new Spring/Summer collection. I decided to buy my first overlocker and sew my son a jacket ... and quite a bunch of clothes afterwards.

A few years later, my son got a little sister. While on parental leave, I started considering crochet, left aside since then. I made my first amigurumi and explored... further and beyond.

I would like to share some tips and bring my contribution to the great community of crafters.
