How can the use of Office 365 apply to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Specially Designed Instruction (SDI)?

What are the four categories affiliated with AT and how are AT and Office 365 accessibility tools related?

Module Activities

In this module, you will be asked to review several webpages and complete activities using the accessibility features within Office 365. Using Microsoft Word, download and respond to the "page activity" questions for each section. Select and download three of the following Office 365 apps (Word, OneNote, Sway, PowerPoint, Forms, and Excel) and respond to the following activities.

  • Looking at the areas of AT and UDL, complete the corresponding chart below and indicate which areas are supported by the accessibility feature in three Office 365 apps.

  • Describe how one of the accessibility tools in Office 365 online supports an area of AT.

  • Identify one UDL Principle and Guideline supported by anyone of the office 365 accessibility tools.
