2025 Annual Fees Breakdown
Our fees are the lowest in Knox as we are able to keep them low due to assistance from hall hire, fundraising and grants.
Our fees are annual (& pro rata) from 1st April and are comprised of four parts:
- Scout Victorian Registration Fee - Per youth member $ 268.00
This fee is passed onto our Branch headquarters to cover costs such as public liability, youth program development, public relations, communications and Leader Recruitment.
- Knox District Registration Fee - Per youth member $ 5.50
This fee is passed onto our Knox District to Cover District Related Expenses.
- Annual Group Fee - $100 First youth Member additional youth Members $30.00
This fee covers the majority of the running costs of your child’s Group, including hall utilities "power, water and gas", badges, Leader training and equipment & hall maintenance.
the shortfall (including major works and new equipment) is gained through fundraising and donations.
- Annual Maintenance Levy - Per Family $60.00
This Helps Cover cost of basic hall repairs and maintenance.
( It is fully refunded at the next fee period if you attend 2 of our 4 working bees.)
- Unit Sub Fees (These are to be paid Directly to unit leaders)
This is a nominal fee to cover incidental activity costs per unit to purchase basic items required for crafts and unit meetings each week this is decided by the unit leaders.

Scouts - $15 Term
- Other Costs & Activities
There are a number of other activities or events which may incur additional costs, such as weekends away, adventurous activities (abseiling etc) or Jamborees. Information will be supplied by the Leaders as to the costs of these.
