white balance

White balance is the process of the camera setting to remove colour cast caused by different light temperature sources inside  and outside this means objects appear white in our photos when we look at them. Colour temperature is measured using the kelvin scale (K). Many cameras will let us fine tune white balance by adjusting  the actual light temperature instead of using presets. When setting the white balance we should take into account the colour temperature of the light source, this means how cool or warm the  photo looks in  the results of using the white balance. If we don't use the correct camera white balance the images could be either a warm orange colour cast  or a cool blue colour one just because the light temperature is either a too cool or a too warm light temperature in the result of trying to get the correct white balance photo. 1,000 K is the warmest white balance being the candle  and 10,000 K is the coolest white balance being the clear blue sky 3,000 K to 7,000  K is the AWD white balance and  3,200 K to 7,000 K is the presets white balance
