Attendees will stay at the Munich Marriott Hotel. (Please note there is a similarly named hotel called  Munich Marriott Hotel City West - that is not where we will be for the GSoC 2025 Mentor Summit.)

 The weekend’s events will take place in the Munich Marriott Hotel's meeting rooms.

It is up to you to find a ride to the hotel from the airport once you arrive. You have some options which are outlined on the Transport to Hotel page.

1. What hotel is available for me to stay at?

Delegates can stay at the Munich Marriott Hotel. The weekend’s events will take place in the Hotel meeting rooms, so easy access for attendees once they are in the hotel.

2. How do I book my hotel?

Please book your own hotel via the registration links sent to you by GSoC Admins in your confirmation emails. (Coming soon.)

3. Is there a special room rate for the hotels if I want to stay additional nights at my own expense?

Yes. We have negotiated a room rate of 139€  for a single room and 164€  for a double room for the 3 nights before (Mon, Tues, Wed) and 3 nights after the event (Sat, Sun and Mon).

5. Is parking available at the hotels? How much does it cost?

Yes, parking is available for a discounted rate of 34€/day.

6. If I arrive before 3pm can I check-in to the hotel? 

You can ask at the hotel's registration desk if they have your room available for you once you arrive.

7. Is there anything to do in the area if I arrive early? 

The Champions Bar on the ground floor will have snacks available from 1-5pm. We also have th Chocolate room (Studio 1 on the 1st floor) that will open at 1pm on Thursday where folks can congregate. The lobby is also a great space to chat with other attendees. You can also grab your name badge in the lobby starting at 1pm Thursday.

8. Can I smoke in the hotel?

No, the hotel is smoke free.

9. Is there a restaurant in the hotel? 

The Munich Marriott Hotel has the Green's restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are full bars available in the hotel and the Champions Munich (sports bar).

10. Is there a gym or place to workout at the hotel? 

The hotel has a Fitness center and a Health Club & Pool, open daily.
