Outside Training and Training Exclusivity

Company and Competition Team dancers must receive primary technical training at Elevation. We recognize that supplemental opportunities such as intensives, conventions, or guest workshops can offer valuable experiences. However, to participate in any training outside of Elevation, dancers must receive written pre-approval from the Artistic Director.

Requests must include:

• Name and description of the program/event

• Dates and location

• Instructor and organization hosting the training

• Exact amount of training hours

• Goals of participation

External programs require pre-approval and must not conflict with the Elevation schedule. Violation may result in loss of program eligibility. Our program is built with long-term development in mind, not just short-term performance goals. We care deeply about each dancer's journey and we are here to help them succeed.
