COMPETITION TEAM

Competition Team  is an opportunity for growth and more performance opportunities. Dancers display their artistry, skills and technique and receive critiques from industry professionals to fine tune their skills and ultimately make progress and improve. Dancers who compete become more confident on stage, and at EDS that's what WINNING looks like!

Dancers may be part of Company without doing Competition Team with the exception of dancers selected for the SENIOR TEAM. There is a place on the application for dancers to select the program for the best fit and also whether competition team participation is of interest.

Choreography Camp will likely take place over the summer. Please plan accordingly. 

The Fall schedule reflects Competition Team practice for 60 minutes per week in the studio.  But more time may be added depending on how many routines we have.

Competition Team Tuition includes:

• Group competition entry fees

• Team Jacket/Sweatshirt

• Weekly Rehearsals

• Choreography Camp

• Team Director 

• Costume(s)

• Additional rehearsals (pre competition showcase, recital stage time, etc.)

• Administration 

• Team Registration to event

• Upload and management of music prior to competition + on site

• Meeting and short warm-up with on-site director/coach 10 routines or approximately 20 minutes before routine is scheduled to compete, pending availability.
