This year the Celtic Connections press office will be coordinated by
Innes & Campbell Communications who will be based in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Contact Corrie Campbell on hello@innesandcampbell.co.uk.
Please note that our official Festival photographer and videographers will be given access to all Celtic Connections events (please note, this does not guarantee that your show will be photographed by us).
Unless you inform us otherwise, accredited media photographers will be provided access to the first three songs, flash is not allowed.
The Press Office will assume that photography permission has been granted for this unless you email hello@innesandcampbell.co.uk at least 24 hours before your concert and inform us that you do not want photographers present, or provide details of any specific restrictions.
Please note all photographers and videographers including those booked by artists must apply for media accreditation via the festival system here: www.celticconnections.com/press-accreditation.
Due to the large volume of requests the festival receives, all photography accreditation must be submitted as far in advance as possible to allow the team time to process. Filming requests should be submitted no later than 2 weeks in advance.
For filming requests, the following stipulations apply. Please read these carefully:
A risk assessment must be provided, with a plan of where cameras are going in advance
Camera positions (fixed or roving) will be agreed in advance to ensure no impact on capacities, safety and audience experience
Celtic Connections charges a facility fee for filming during the show, this is charged at £150 (+VAT). We request that up to a minute of the footage is shared with the festival for use on their own promotional channels
Multi-Track Audio Recording: access to the system may be available for this, depending on the venue’s equipment and set up. If you wish to arrange this, please request in advance via celticconnections.production@gmail.com. Access to the system comes with a £150 (+VAT) fee. Please note: The £150 fee is for access to the system only. You are responsible for providing all necessary recording equipment and engineers. Any additional costs (e.g., for equipment or personnel) are also your responsibility. Our venue engineers are there to manage sound for the live performance, but they will not be involved in the recording process. They can only provide system access if it's available.
We can offer a stereo feed from the FOH console at no cost, where available. This would be via an XLR connection.
We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and support in making all artist filming and photography as successful and straightforward as possible.
Accreditation is open now at: www.celticconnections.com/press-accreditation. Any queries, the press accreditation team will be able to help in the first instance. Please contact hello@innesandcampbell.co.uk.
