Artists are allocated a small number of complimentary guest tickets for their show. Allocation of guest tickets is strictly controlled and we will confirm how many are allocated for your show a few days in advance.
Please complete the form on Festival Pro with the names of those guests you wish to invite or alternatively call the Festival Office, or send a list to Charlie.Reader@Glasgowlife.org.uk no later than 1pm on the day of your show. This deadline is essential to ensure tickets can be processed by the Box Office and issued to the venue in time. For afternoon concerts the list needs to be in by 10am. Please send the guest list earlier if possible.
For shows at the Concert Hall, New Auditorium and Strathclyde Suite, guest tickets can be collected from the Concert Hall box office. For shows at all other venues, guest tickets can be collected at the venue.
Bag Policy
Strict security measures will be in place for entry to all auditoriums in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as well as City Halls & The Old Fruitmarket, including for use of guest list tickets. At all our venues there may be bag searches on arrival and at most venues only one small hand bag per person is permitted. In the Royal Concert Hall & City halls venues this must not be bigger than A3 size.
Larger bags, including rucksacks & instrument cases, are not allowed into the auditoriums, so please make alternative arrangements. There are no facilities to leave large bags or luggage at most venues, so preferably leave them at your hotel. If you really have to bring a bag, please check in advance that there will be a suitable cloakroom at the venue. Please note you are liable for any instruments or other belongings that are left in venues.
