Initially, I wanted to summit both Pic Coolidge and Pic de la Temple, starting from Col de la Temple's bivouac. But strong winds kept me awake a big part of the night, admiring the clear sky, and cold temperatures (my bivy was quite full of ice in the morning) made me go for just Pic Coolidge.

At the Col de la Temple bivy, I met another climbing team, fellow Alsatians who weren't too sure at what to do next. They decided to follow me on the next day.
Pic Coolidge is an easy climb and we — the other climbing team and I — were back at Col de la Temple before 11am, including time for a long contemplative pause and lunch at the top.
But on the way down, I couldn't resist an omelette at refuge de la Temple; I also had a nap by refuge du Carrelet and I arrived quite late (4pm) to la Bérarde.
