In the old days, if you witnessed a crime and the police asked you for the perpetrator's race, you said "white," or you said "black," or you said "Hispanic," or whatever. Whatever the guy's race was, that's what you said. These days, if the guy was white, you can say "white." But if he was black, you can't say "black." You can't say it. Because it's not politically correct. People will interpret it as you saying, "I think all black people are criminals." That's how political correctness works. Political correctness is a ludicrous system that labels most things as offensive. Everything is offensive. If you drink the wrong brand of whiskey, that means you hate Hungarians. If you put your watch on your right wrist, that means you're against gay rights. If you wear polyester on Groundhog Day, that means you're a misogynist.
